We can tell you if you need conventional or synthetic oil during your oil change

We can tell you if you need conventional or synthetic oil during your oil change

Been getting oil changes for years, but aren't sure what shops mean when they ask about conventional or synthetic oil?

Lube Alley is here to help.

Conventional oil is okay in most applications and vehicles, and it is derived from natural sources. Certain vehicles can only run on conventional oil. However, we encourage off-road vehicles, older cars, or high-performance cars to go with synthetic oil. Synthetic Oil is a blend of non-naturally occurring compounds that is better for most engines in the long run, especially in cold climates.
